Posting to the Feed
Share your images, videos, roleplay excerpts, story chapters, characters and worlds on the Feed. Learn what you can post, where to start, who sees it, and how the automatic check works.
Anything you make on Xotic AI can go on the Feed. Your posts also show on your profile and under My posts in the feed.
Where to start#
The quickest way is from the thing you want to share. Look for Post to Feed or Share to Feed:
- Your images: from an image's menu in My images in the Create studio. You can also select several images and post them together.
- Your videos: from My videos in the Create studio.
- Chat images: from the full-screen image viewer in a chat.
- Worlds pictures: from the full-screen view of a room picture.
- A story chapter: from Story inside a room you hosted.
- A character: from that character's page.
- A world: from the page of a public story you wrote.
You can also tap Post at the top of the feed and pick what to share.
What you can post#
Add a caption with #tags and @mentions, a title if you like, and up to 10 tags. Draft for me can write the words for you. For images, Show how it was made adds your prompt to the post so people can learn from it.
Audience#
- Adults-only: turn this on for explicit content and pick how explicit it is (Suggestive, Explicit or Extreme). The automatic check can raise this rating, but it never lowers it.
- Subject: Women, Men or Trans. Leave it blank and the check sets it from the picture.
- Who sees it: Everyone, Followers or Link only. Set the default for new posts in Settings → Feed.
The automatic check#
Every post is checked before it goes live. Text posts appear right away. Posts with images or video appear once the check finishes, and until then only you can see them. If something breaks the community guidelines, the post won't go through and you'll be asked to edit it.
The Posted badge#
Images you've already shared carry a Posted badge in My images, so you can see at a glance what's been on the feed.
Managing your posts#
Find everything you've posted under My posts, or on your profile's Posts tab. Use Delete post in a post's ⋯ menu to remove it, along with its reactions and comments.
You'll get notifications when people react, comment, reply, mention you or follow you. Choose which of these reach you in the app or as push notifications in Settings → Notifications.
