Creating your own story
Write a scenario in minutes — draft it with AI, cast characters, give them goals and secrets, generate opening images in the studio, and share it privately or submit it for public listing.
Draft it with AI#
Go to Create a story, type one line — "two rival baristas snowed in overnight at a mountain café" — and Draft with AI fills the title, premise, setting, opening scene, rules, director notes and a suggested cast. Edit anything.
Cast characters#
Pick characters from the library or your own. A story is one art style — realistic or anime — so the cast must match.
Each character gets a role, who they are in this world, a public goal, a private goal and secrets. Their character card brings only their personality and looks; the role you write is who they are here. Fill with AI writes a character's part from the story. Tick Bring their own backstory if you want their original background in the room too.
Opening images#
Generate a shot makes pictures with your cast in a private studio (50 XOT each). Pin up to four as opening images — they open every new room instantly and appear on the story page. You can also pin any picture from your own rooms with Use as opening shot.
Share it#
Stories are private by default: make it playable and it's live for you and anyone you send the private link to — instantly, no review.
Submit for public listing when you want it on Worlds for everyone. Our team reviews public stories (text, cast and opening images) before they are listed; it stays playable privately meanwhile, and you can withdraw at any time. Edits to a listed story go through review again.
