Xotic AI has state-of-the-art image generation, and you can reach it from several places depending on what you're doing.

Where you can generate images#

  • The image studio (/create) — the full-control surface: write your own prompts, pick the engine and style, and batch-generate. Covered below.
  • In a chat — ask a companion for a photo with Request a photo or Auto Snap. Quick and contextual — see Getting images in chat.
  • The character creator — generate a new character's first images as you build her. See Generating her images.

Everywhere, a single image generation costs 50 XOT and requires a subscription. See XOT costs.

The image studio#

Open the studio at /create and switch to the Images view. The generator gives you:

  • StyleRealistic or Anime. (Anime automatically starts your prompt with quality tags like masterpiece, best quality.)
  • EngineClassic, Apex, or Lumen — the same three engines used in the character creator; see how they differ in Generating her images.
  • Count — generate 1, 2, or 4 images at once. Cost scales with the count (50 XOT each).
  • Positive prompt (required) — the tags describing what you want to see.
  • Negative prompt (optional) — tags for what you want to avoid.

Hit Create and your images generate. This is where prompting matters most — how you write those tags is the difference between a generic result and exactly what you pictured.

Where your images go#

Generated images land in your My images gallery in the studio, where you can organize them into collections and publish the best ones to the feed.

Learn to prompt#

The models use the Danbooru tagging system, which is a skill worth learning — ten minutes pays off across every image you ever make.
