Voice Calls
Talk to your companion in real time in her own voice — how to start a call, what it costs, and who can use it.
Voice calls let you talk to your companion out loud, in real time, in the voice she was given at creation. On a call she's the same person — her personality, background, and bio all carry over — but the call itself is its own conversation: she doesn't read your chat history during a call, and what's said on a call doesn't flow back into the chat afterwards. Think of calls as living in the moment, and chat as where the written history lives.
Starting a call#
Open her profile panel and tap the Call button. You'll see a brief connecting state, then you're live. Tap again to end the call at any time — the end-of-call summary shows your exact call length and the XOT spent.
What it costs#
Voice calling is a subscription feature and uses XOT while you're on the call — 50 XOT per minute, billed in minute blocks as the call runs: 50 XOT when the call connects, another 50 as each new minute starts, and when you hang up the unused portion of the final minute is refunded automatically. In effect, you pay for the time you actually talk at the 50/minute rate — the end-of-call summary shows the exact duration and final XOT spent. If you're not subscribed, starting a call opens the upgrade flow. See XOT costs and Plans overview.
Voice calls vs. video calls#
Voice calls are audio conversations with any companion. For a face-to-face call with a live animated avatar, see Video calls — a separate feature with its own set of avatars.
Her voice everywhere#
The voice on a call is the one chosen for her in the character creator. The same voice powers text-to-speech, so she sounds consistent whether you're reading or listening.
