At Xotic AI, we're committed to fostering a community where users can express themselves creatively and authentically while maintaining respect for others. These guidelines outline our expectations for behavior and content on our platform to ensure a positive experience for everyone.
Core Principles
Respect & Inclusivity
We welcome users from all backgrounds and identities. Treat others with respect and consideration, regardless of their race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, or disability.
Consent & Boundaries
Respect for consent is paramount. Understand that AI characters have programmed boundaries that should be respected, and all content should be created with consideration for community standards.
Creative Expression
We encourage creativity and authentic self-expression, while maintaining an environment where all users feel comfortable and safe.
Fiction vs. Reality
Understand that interactions on Xotic AI are fictional. AI characters are not real people and the platform should not be used for professional advice on medical, legal, financial, or other serious matters.
Prohibited Content & Behavior
The following content and behaviors are prohibited on Xotic AI. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or termination.
Content Involving Minors
Any sexual or romantic content involving individuals under 18 years of age is strictly prohibited. This includes:
- Sexual conversations involving minors
- Romantic roleplay with characters that are or appear to be minors
- Sexualization of individuals under 18 in any context
- Content promoting or glorifying child exploitation
We have zero tolerance for this type of content. Violations will result in immediate account termination and may be reported to authorities.
Harm, Violence, and Self-Harm
Content that promotes, encourages, or glorifies:
- Self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders
- Extreme violence, gore, or torture
- Terrorism, violent extremism, or mass violence
- Abuse (physical, sexual, psychological) of humans or animals
- Content that provides instructions for harming oneself or others
Hate Speech & Discrimination
Content that promotes hatred, discrimination, or violence against protected groups, including but not limited to:
- Racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, or ableist content
- Content that promotes supremacist ideologies
- Dehumanizing comparisons or generalizations about protected groups
- Use of slurs or hateful symbols
Non-Consensual Content
Content that violates consent or privacy, including:
- Sharing personal information of real individuals without permission
- Impersonating real people without clear indication of parody/fiction
- Promoting non-consensual sexual activities
- Sharing private communications without permission
Illegal Activities
Content that promotes, encourages, or provides instructions for illegal activities, including:
- Drug trafficking or manufacturing
- Weapons trafficking or manufacturing
- Fraud, hacking, or identity theft
- Any other criminal activity
Intellectual Property Violations
Unauthorized use of copyrighted material or other intellectual property, including:
- Sharing copyrighted material without permission
- Claiming others' work as your own
- Using trademarked content without authorization
Content Moderation
We employ a combination of automated systems and human reviewers to enforce these guidelines and maintain a safe environment for all users.
How Moderation Works
- Automated Detection: Our systems automatically scan for potential violations of our community guidelines, including prohibited content.
- User Reports: We rely on our community to report content that violates our guidelines. Your reports help us identify problematic content quickly.
- Human Review: Reported content and automated flags are reviewed by trained moderators who make the final decision on whether content violates our guidelines.
- Content Actions: Depending on the severity of the violation, we may remove content, issue warnings, temporarily suspend accounts, or permanently terminate accounts.
Reporting Violations
We encourage community members to report content that violates these guidelines. Your reports help us maintain a safe and respectful environment for everyone.
How to Report Content
If you encounter content that violates our Community Guidelines, please report it immediately by:
- Sending an email to our support team at [email protected]
- Include as much detail as possible about the violation
- Include screenshots or other evidence when available
- Our team will review your report and take appropriate action
Note: We take all reports seriously and investigate them thoroughly. However, due to privacy considerations, we may not be able to share the specific outcomes of all investigations.
Enforcement & Appeals
We strive to enforce our community guidelines fairly and consistently. Enforcement actions depend on the severity and frequency of violations.
Enforcement Actions
- Warning: For minor first-time violations, users may receive a warning explaining the violation and how to avoid it in the future.
- Content Removal: Content that violates our guidelines will be removed from the platform.
- Temporary Suspension: Repeated violations may result in temporary account suspension, ranging from 24 hours to 30 days.
- Permanent Termination: Severe violations or repeated infractions despite warnings may result in permanent account termination.
Appeals Process
If you believe a moderation action was taken in error, you can appeal by contacting our support team at [email protected] with the subject line "Moderation Appeal."
In your appeal, please include:
- Your username
- A description of the content that was moderated
- An explanation of why you believe the moderation decision was incorrect
- Any supporting information that may help us review your appeal
We aim to review appeals within 5-7 business days.
Platform-Specific Guidelines
Conversations with AI Characters
When engaging with AI characters on Xotic AI:
- Respect character boundaries and the intended experience
- Understand that AI characters cannot provide professional advice
- Remember that all AI characters are fictional and any resemblance to real people is coincidental
- Be mindful that the AI system has limitations in its understanding and responses
Adult Content
Xotic AI allows some adult content between consenting adults, but within clear boundaries:
- Adult content must involve fictional adults only (18+)
- Adult content should remain private and not be shared in public spaces
- Content must not glorify non-consensual activities
- Content must not involve prohibited categories listed in our guidelines
User Profiles
When creating and maintaining your user profile:
- Do not impersonate other users, real people, or brands
- Avoid using offensive, discriminatory, or overly explicit usernames
- Do not use profile pictures that violate our content guidelines
- Do not include contact information for external platforms or services
Community Interactions
When interacting with other users in community spaces:
- Be respectful and considerate in all communications
- Do not harass, bully, or threaten other users
- Respect different viewpoints and experiences
- Do not spam or post irrelevant content in community spaces
Health & Wellbeing
We care about your mental health and wellbeing while using Xotic AI. We recommend:
Set Healthy Boundaries
Take regular breaks from the platform and be mindful of your screen time. Remember that AI companions are designed to enhance your life, not replace real human connections.
Fiction vs. Reality
Maintain awareness of the distinction between AI interactions and real relationships. AI characters cannot provide professional advice or support in the way trained humans can.
Seek Support When Needed
If you're experiencing mental health challenges, please reach out to professional resources rather than relying solely on AI companions for emotional support.
Report Concerning Content
If you encounter content that promotes self-harm or other harmful behaviors, please report it immediately so we can take appropriate action.
Updates to Guidelines
Our Community Guidelines may be updated periodically to reflect new challenges, platform changes, or regulatory requirements. We will notify users of significant changes through email or platform announcements.
By using Xotic AI, you agree to follow these Community Guidelines. Failure to comply may result in content removal, account suspension, or termination.
