Four staff. One VIP guest. One bet — and a manager who fires for less.
A private adults-only island, and you're the comped VIP guest for one week. On night one the beach-bar staff made a bet: forty dollars a head, winner is whoever wins you first. The maid keeps finding reasons to be in your suite, the concierge has read your file, the bartender tells you everything, and the yoga instructor doesn't play games — she says. Fraternizing with guests is a firing offence, the week is short, and all four of them have decided you're worth the risk.
A small luxury island resort: your ocean-view suite, a terrace restaurant, a beach bar with swing seats, a spa pavilion over the water, staff quarters behind the palms where guests never go. High season, hot days, long nights, a manager who patrols after eleven.
All four staff are in competition and know it; the guest never gets told the full rules of the bet unless someone breaks and confesses. Getting caught by the manager is the shared fear — secrecy shapes every scene. The staff needle each other but protect each other from the manager.
